The honest bit
Why we ask for your Cookidoo® password
Vorwerk doesn’t offer a “connect an app” button for Cookidoo®. The only way to put a recipe into your own collection is to sign in as you — so we need the same email and password you use there.
You can skip that step and convert recipes without linking anything. You only need to link an account when you want us to save straight to Cookidoo®.
Stored encrypted, never shown
Your password is encrypted at rest and never displayed back to you, to us, or to anyone else.
Used for one job only
Signing in to save the recipes you asked us to save. We don't browse, buy, or change anything else.
Unlink whenever you like
One button in Settings deletes the details for good. Your converted recipes stay with you.

No subscription, no monthly fee. Buy a handful of credits, use them whenever you find something worth cooking. They never expire.

Questions people ask us
Do I need a Cookidoo® subscription?
Yes, to save into it. Own recipes live in your Cookidoo® collection, so you need an active account there. Without one you can still convert recipes and read them here.
Which machines does it write for?
TM7, TM6, TM5 and TM31. We keep to the temperatures and speeds your model actually has, so a recipe written for a TM7 gets adjusted for a TM31.
What if it gets something wrong?
You see the whole recipe before anything is saved, with every change listed. If it's badly off, convert it again for a different machine or serving count, free of charge.
Can it handle a long video?
Yes. We listen to the narration and read what's on screen, then pull out the amounts — including the ones only said out loud.
How long does one take?
Usually under a minute for a link or a photo. A long video can take three or four. You can close the tab — the recipe will be waiting in your list.
Is Weighed Out made by Vorwerk?
No. We're independent and not affiliated with Vorwerk in any way. Thermomix® and Cookidoo® are their trademarks, used here only to say what Weighed Out works with.
